Migrated to Indiana along with Margaret's father and siblings. Wm. Greene and Margaret made their home in Monroe County, Indiana.
It has been told that on a return trip to Kentucky c. 1827, that Wm. was killed. Margaret was left with many children, which she raised by herself. In 1837, she would marry Mr. William Dowden and move to Greene County, Indiana.
NOTE: Margaret's gravestone, erected by a descendent, stating her maiden name of Kutch is in error. Her full name is Margaret 'Peggy' McCain King Dowden. Margaret's sister Elizabeth McCain married John Kutch.
William Greene King was the son of John King c.1748 - 1830 and Mary Peebles Lanier c. 1750-c. 1785.
