Polly Lambert, 66, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
A joint celebration of Charlie and Polly's lives will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to St. Jude, Tunnels to Towers, BSA Hospice or The Ronald McDonald House.
Polly was born February 28, 1956, in Borger to William B. Ames and Barbara Lehman Ames. She married Charlie Lambert in Borger on February 14, 1982. She was a 1974 graduate of Borger High School. Polly and Charlie traveled the world doing their favorite sport, scuba diving, but especially in the Caribbean. They also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Polly worked and retired from Phillips Petroleum Company having worked for them for more than 25 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Barbara Chavez; and brothers, Patrick Ames and Dennis "Bear" Ames.
Survivors include her sons, Shane Mitchell of Amarillo, Ian Kelchner of Coco Beach, Florida; six grandchildren; and great granddaughter, Kyle Sosbee; sister, Mary Jelf of Magna Utah; and brother, Michael Ames of Humble, Texas.
