Ronald Vincent Ajello, 83, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, and formerly of Otter Lake, New York, passed away at home on Friday, April 29, 2022.
Ronald was born on November 10, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Dr. Dominick and Bee (Andreozzi) Ajello. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and spent his childhood summers at his family's summer home in Deal, New Jersey. He graduated from Adelphi Academy in Brooklyn, New York, and went on to obtain his associates degree in Sociology from Fairleigh Dickson University in New Jersey. He then began his career in the pharmaceutical sales industry, working for Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals.

Ronald met his wife Carolyn at the Bath and Tennis Club in Deal, New Jersey, and they were married for 44 years until she passed in 2007. They raised three children together, Ronald Ajello Jr., Carole Ann, and Bradford, in Utica and Otter Lake.

Ronald loved to be outdoors. He resided in Otter Lake for many years, and he very much enjoyed the beauty of the lake he lived on. He loved to be on his boat. He spent many hours on Otter Lake, whether it be driving his boat water skiing and Snowmobiling. Ronald loved to water ski; it was one of his most favorite activities. When his grandchildren came to visit, he sure did attempt to teach them to water ski but, he also enjoyed just driving his boat and taking his grandchildren tubing. During the winter months in Otter Lake, Ronald loved to snowmobile. Ronald also loved to go out and socialize with the people of his community. While in Otter Lake, he would spend many evenings out at the Otter Lake Station, or Steak House, in Thendara, NY.

In 2000, Ronald began to spend winters in Deerfield Beach, Florida, alternating his time between Upstate New York and Florida. While he lived in Deerfield Beach, he embraced living on the ocean. He would spend much of his time either swimming or siting on his balcony watching the boats. He met many friends in the Opal Towers condominiums, where he lived. During the later years of his life, he permanently settled in Opal Towers, where he would live his life in the warm sun right by the ocean.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Dominick and Bee, his wife, Carolyn, and his son, Ronald Jr.

We love you Grandpa. Forever and Always. Rest in the sweetest peace
