Mona Lee Morrison, 94, of Mayodan, NC, formerly of Princeton, died peacefully Sunday, November 27, 2021, in the Hospice of Rockingham County, Rockingham, NC. Born July 11, 1927, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Lewis Clark and Trilby Holroyd Clark. Mona worked for the Maidenform Corporation and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Jackson Morrison, and six loving siblings. Survivors include her two loving children, Darrell Morrison and wife Almeda, Debra Lee; Six loving grandchildren, Ten loving great-grandchildren; Several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with John Puckett speaking. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 P.M. (Noon) until the service hour at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC. 27375. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
