William Stoner was born in Richland Co., OH. He married Hannah Wilson and they moved to Marshall Co., IL in May 1856 with their daughter Cynthia. William died in 1866 due to Typhoid Disease from drinking water in a local infested creek. He was 2 months and 2 weeks shy of his 39th birthday. William was the father of 6 children.
