She was born July 25, 1953 in Ottumwa to James L. and Maxine M. Richardson Meredith Sr. Janette married Frank L. Caudron on May 29, 1971.
Janette was a 1971 graduate of Ottumwa High School. She was an excellent homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Janette enjoyed playing Bunco.
Surviving is her husband, Frank; two grandsons, Anthony Headley and Alex Headley; a great-grandson, Henry Headley; siblings, Susan Jackson of California, Jerri Kleinman Marcia Reynolds, Barbara Shewry, James L. Meredith Jr. and Jesse I. Meredith all of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anette Headley; her parents, and two sisters, her twin, Janine Meredith and JoAnn Masters.
Visitation will be open at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12th, at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 13th, at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Stanley Reiley officiating. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
