Daughter of Paul Robertson and Winnie Durand Robertson. She grew upin Buford, GA. She was a standout athlete in high school sports including basketball and track. She married Aaron Phagan in 1954 and moved to Gainesville, GA where they became lifetime residents. She volunteered as the girls' basketball coach for two years at Riverbend Elementary School and was a Brownie Scout Leader. She also worked at Hall County Hospital in the early 1960's. She was a member of Air Line Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Aaron Phagan; brother, Jack Robertson; and sister, June Zinskie. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Randy Benton of Gainesville, and Pam and Anthony Chapman of Watkinsville, and Linda Ann Phagan of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Aaron and Andra Phagan of Lula; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Margie Phagan, and Mozelle (Ricky) Trotter.
