Carroll B. Wedding, Jr. "Sixty", 91, of Mechanicsville, Maryland passed away on May 12, 2022.

Carroll was preceded in death by Lucille V. Wedding (mother), Carroll B. Wedding (father) Nellie Wedding (wife), Nancy Hayes (daughter), Jacqueline Wedding (daughter) and brothers and sisters.

He is survived by Gene Wedding (Son) and Spouse, Dewayne Wedding (Son) and Spouse; grandchildren JC Winkler and Spouse, Tommy Winkler, Shannon Holton and Spouse, Ashley Wedding, Grace Wedding and Tyler Wedding and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sister Eleanor Coulby and brothers David, Harold and Ronnie Wedding.

Carroll B. Wedding Jr. was born in Welcome, Maryland where he was raised on their family farm. He was enlisted in the United States Army on August 8, 1949 and served in the Korean War. In 1953 he began working at the Naval Ordnance Station in Indian Head, Maryland and also married the love of his life, Nellie Simmons in the same year. In 1967 he was promoted to Driver-Operator which was the position he held until retirement. He was a "Family Man" and adored by many. As he would always say, "I Never Met a Stranger". Carroll was also a firefighter and a roofer.

Carroll enjoyed listening to country music, watching baseball, football, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Price is Right, Family Feud, and America Says. He also enjoyed sitting outside, gardening, and eating his oysters.
