She is survived by her adoring husband, Lannie; son, Matt Risinger and wife Stacey, and "grand" children, Preston and Madelynn; sister, Mary Morin and husband Craig, and their children Justin, Mindy and Travis; numerous cousins; and family members.

Sue grew up in a loving Christian home. She attended Putnam City High School, where she graduated in 1966. She then completed a Bachelor of Education degree at Central State University and went on to teach elementary school for nine years. She joyfully welcomed Matthew into the world on September 3, 1977, with whom she fulfilled her lifelong desire to be a mother. Sue partnered with Lannie and became a home builder, active in all aspects of the business. She also had a separate interior decorating business. Sue was also a water aerobics instructor, which was a true love. She believed it was a ministry for her. She made many friends along the way. As a member of Metropolitan Bible Church for many years, she gained many dear Christian friends. Sue was true to her Christian roots and beliefs while experiencing her last difficult days on this earth.
