Patricia A. Acocella 84, resident of Rockaway, formerly of Toms River, Bloomfield and Nutley, passed away on Friday May 13, 2022. Born in Passaic, NJ, Patricia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Zellner) Kane. She worked for years at Ellison Products, as well as a nursing home in Cedar Grove and later was an administrative assistant for the Bursar in the billing office at Montclair State University in Montclair NJ. Patricia is survived by her children Dan Verrico and his wife Susan, Gerard Verrico and his wife Carina, Laurell Leclerc and her husband Ted and Charlene Sasso, her brother Richard Kane, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas J. Acocella and her sister Margaret (Peggy) Bashore.

Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 267 Centre St., Nutley on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 3-7pm.

There will be a funeral service at the funeral home on Friday May 20, 2022, at 10:30 am. Entombment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
