Mrs. George P. Carveth
Mrs. George P. Carveth, 1170 North Edward Street died Saturday night at 9 o'clock following a lingering illness of dropsy. Ida A. Mattenlee was born in Fayette County near the old seminary church, July 5, 1868. She moved from there to St. Louis in May 1881, and lived in St. Louis until her marriage, November 20, 1890.
She leaves her husband and the following children: J. Cecil and W. Frank, Detroit, Michigan; John P., C. Eugene, Mrs. Gladys Quick and Lillie E. Carveth, all of Decatur. She also leaves three brothers: Dr. J. M. Mattenlee, of Sapulpa, W. Frank Mattenlee, Kansas City, John W. Sharp, Muskogee, Oklahoma and four grandchildren.
