Angela M. Vaughan, 66, of Netcong, NJ passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2022. Angela was born on February 4, 1956, in Dover, NJ to Marie and the late Augustine Amendola. She was a life-long resident of Netcong, NJ.
Angela's greatest passion was her family. She loved getting her family together and cooking for them. Angela was proud of raising her family the right way. During her younger years, Angela was a standout softball player and athlete. She also enjoyed trips to Aruba.
Angela is survived by her sons, Anthony Vaughan and wife Clarisa, Christopher Vaughan, and Michael Vaughan and girlfriend Alexa, her mother, Marie Amendola, her sister, Ruthann Amendola, her grandchildren, Gavin, Lilah and Sienna, her nieces, Christina McGuiness and Angela Pierce, and nephew AJ Amendola, and by many other loving family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband in 2011, Thomas Edward Vaughan Jr., and her sister, Donna Lanaris, in 2021.
Angela's Celebration of Life will include a visitation from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, May 23, 2022 at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10am funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
