Ellen Joyce Mulcahy did not marry but lived in Clonmel. She worked in the Auctioneers, Stokes and Quirke, Clonmel. When her parents died Joyce moved to 7 Abbey St, Clonmel near the Friary. She was a frequent visitor to her brother William's house in Dublin and then Skerries. She spent Christmas 1979 in Skerries, and was about to return home to Clonmel but took ill and died on 5th January 1980 in her brother's house in Skerries. She was buried with her father and mother in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Clonmel.
