She was a 1974 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and she received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. She married John Frank Ocenasek February 11, 1984 in Swartz Creek and he preceded her in death February 25, 2019. She retired from Ascension Genesys Hospital as a Unit Clerk. Nancy was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. She enjoyed horseback riding and sewing.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Stephen Cimbalik.
