Bailey , Peggy J. `Peg` (Mize) Bailey , Peggy J. (Mize) `Peg,` 66, Postal Service retiree, passed away on Feb. 5, 2004. Preceded in death by her parents, Grace L. Frair and William H. Mize. Peg was born in Helena, Mont. on March 28, 1937. She graduated with the first graduating class of West High School.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Doug Brown of Wichita; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan and Morgan Brown all of Wichita; brother, Bill Mize of Yuma, AZ; sisters, Frances Mastellar, Jo Ann Frazier, and those so close to the family they were called sisters for 58 years, Helen Frost, Tish Wright and Jill Milgrim. She had two nieces, three nephews, four great-nieces and two great-nephews. Peg co-owned C & P Tax Service with her daughter until the time of her death. She was a generous and kind person always giving of herself. She had tutored children through Literacy Resources and served on the board of directors for the Wichita Youth Home. Peg made friends easily and retained those friendships over the years. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2004 at Broadway Mortuary. Memorial established with Literacy Resources.
