Charles J. Buono, 73, of Fort Pierce died Monday July 21, 1997 at his home. A native of Manhattan, NY, he lived in Fort Pierce for 11 years. He moved here from Brooklyn, NY. Before retirement, he was an electronic technician for 35 years for Wally's Auto-Radio, New York City. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Fort Pierce and was past vice president of the Italian American Civic Association in Vero Beach. He also was an avid model ship builder. Surviors include his wife of 43 years, Venus Buono of Ft. Pierce; and a sister, Rose Perex of Towaco, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 26, at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce. Arrangements were by Aycock Funeral Home of Fort Pierce.
