AUTRY, Edith Irene Bryant, age 80, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles J. and Dora A. Bryant; and her first husband, Shelton D. Bryant. She is survived by her husband, Eugene R. Autry; her son, Charles S. Bryant, and wife, Carol; her daughter, Judith B. Lipscomb; and her two granddaughters, Jordan E. Lipscomb and Megan A. Bryant. Mrs. Autry was a retiree of C & P Telephone and life member of the Pioneers. She was a member of Mount Vernon and Skipwith Baptist Churches. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. After her retirement in 1984, she enjoyed traveling cross country and spending time with her family. The family will receive family and friends Friday, January 18, at Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd., from 7 to 9 p.m., followed by a funeral service Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. Mrs. Autry will be laid to rest beside her parents at Westhampton Memorial Park.
