Charles W. "Charlie" Griner, age 90, of Maumee, OH passed away March 27, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 19, 1931 in Toledo to Joseph and Velva Griner. Charlie served his country in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He was employed with the IBEW Local 8. Charlie enjoyed fishing, bowling and camping, but the most important part of his life was his wife, Doris.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clayton "Sonny," Orlo "Bussy" and Donald "Donnie;" and son-in-law, Gregory Kreps. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Doris Griner; daughters, Vicky Kreps, Connie (Walter) Walenczak, Jackie (Andrew) Perrault and Sherry (Leslie) Browning; grandchildren, Charlie (Karey), Kelly (Gregory Feeney), Chris (Kacie), Curt, Zachary (Sarah), Jennifer (Russell), Sheila, Samuel (Avery) and Jessica; 5 great-grandchildren; one great great grandson and sister, Susie.
