Clipped from Victoria Advocate which appeared 08 Nov 1988, Tues Page 16 and reads: Frederick Engelking Advocate News Service SCHERTZ - Frederick Edward Engelking, 78, of Schertz, died Sunday in a New Braunfels hospital following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Galloway & Suns Funeral Home chapel in Beeville. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville. Born April 19, 1910, in Beeville, Mr. Engelking was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and was a Lutheran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Caroline Beck Engelking. Surviving are his wife, Iva Britton Engelking of Schertz; a daughter, Linda McClintock of Universal City; a son, Stephen Engelking of Dallas; two sisters, Joyce Engelking Hall of Dover, Del., and Eleanor Wilson of Waco; a brother, James Engelking of Beeville ; and two grandchildren. If desired, donations may be made to the church of the donor's choice or to a favorite charity.
