Jo Ann Chiste of Summerfield, Fl passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born on August 10, 1937 in Dexter, MO.
She worked in various jobs but retired from McDonald Douglas now Boeing, Inc. where she worked as an administrative assistant.
She was actively involved in her church and enjoyed golf (5 holes in one), singing, theatre productions, entertaining but she most enjoyed baking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Chiste, parents, Irene and Gene Estes, and siblings, Jack Estes and Mary Vowels. She is survived by her son, Jo David Cummins and wife Rae, grandsons, Cade Cummins and wife Katie, Gage Cummins and Wife Emily, and great grandchildren, Mason and Maddie Cummins.
Jo Ann loved her family and was so proud and blessed to have lived to watch her great grandchildren Mason and Maddie grow up. God blessed her with family and a son who saw her through life's ups and downs.
The family would like to thank her neighborhood and especially friends Sheri and Cathryn for the friendship, care, and compassion over the past months.
