V. H. Boatman
Mr. V. H. Boatman, 53, of Winona, died of surgical complications for pancreatic cancer March 18, 2001 at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was the owner/operator of Boatman Body Shop in Winona.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and attended Winona Baptist Temple.
Graveside services were held March 21 at Reeds Chapel Ceme tery near Stewart with Rev. Reidis Nash officiating, assisted by Rev. John L. Walker.
Mr. Boatman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Brenda Boatman of Winona; two daughters, Emily Richardson of Eskridge, Rachel Boatman of Winona; his mother, Mrs. Frances Boatman of Stewart; five sisters, Theresa Bridges, Patsy White, Verita Hathcock, Thelma Dees, Delma Mitchell, all of Stewart; one brother, George Boatman of Stewart; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Terry Mitchell, Brad Belue, William White, John White, Levi Hathcock, Lee Hathcock, Chad Bridges, and Ben Dees.
Honorary pallbearers were Guy Keith Palmertree and Chris Green.
Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of the arrangements.
