Pleasants, Departed this life January 16, 2008. Alfred Louis(Sonny) Pleasants Jr. of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife Annie Marie Pleasants and two sons Sylvester and Ricardo Pleasants.
He is survived by three sons Alfred III, Tyrone and James Pleasants; one daughter Cheryl Johnson; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters in law Jackie and Elaine Pleasants; one son in law Frank Johnson; two sisters in law Alease and Gertie Pleasants; one brother in law Andrew Richardson; and other relatives and friends.
Remains rested at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services was held Saturday 12 noon at Progressive Holiness Church, 1518 Texas Avenue where remains laid in state one hour prior funeral time. Bishop L. A. Campbell(pastor) off. Internment Riverview Cemetey. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. Saturday.
