MRS. ABE ODA IS CLAIMED BY DEATH MONDAY EVENING
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday for Mrs. Eva Oda, 66, wife of Abe Oda, who passed away at her home in Jackson Center Monday evening at 7:25 o'clock.
She had been ill for the past several months with heart complications.
A native of Maplewood, she was born May 17, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Gates. She was united in marriage to Abe Oda November 13, 1904; and he mourns her passing with a daughter, Miss Opal Oda, at home, another daughter, Mrs. Cloyd Keysor, Greenwich and a son, Ray Oda, of Bellefontaine.
Mrs. Charles Kies of Botkins, and Marion Gates, of Maryland, are a sister and brother surviving with a host of other relatives and friends.
The rites are to be conducted from the Oda residence Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W. L. Nofcier officiating. Burial will be made in the Glen Cemetery at Pt. Jefferson.
