Sandra Leathers, age 76 of Loveland, Colorado, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2022.

Born Sandra Kay Headlee to Milford and Jewel Headlee (Greenup) on March 8, 1945 in Eaton, Colorado. She was raised in Northern Colorado with her sister, Peggy. Sandra grew up helping in the family business, a local grocery store owned and operated by her parents. She graduated from Pierce High School in 1963.

Sandra's passion in life was to be a homemaker and mother. She operated a home daycare for several years, where the children were loved and cared for as her own.

Sandra's Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was at the front and center of her life. She regularly attended The Church of the Good Shepherd in Loveland, and had been active in the communion committee, Empty Nesters, and enjoyed decorating tables for the women's Christmas dinner.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Leathers, five children, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and sister, Peggy Dale.--Viegut Funeral Home
