Raymond L. Stevens, 92 of Sylmar, California passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at his home. He was born March 11, 1930 in Springfield, IL son of Joseph and Carrie (Fraley) Stevens. He married Bonnie Maggs in 1956 in Auburn and she preceded him in death.
Raymond graduated from Auburn High School and upon his graduation, he served in the United States Army. After marrying Bonnie, they moved to California where he worked for Southern California Gas Company for 30 years.
He is survived by his sisters-in-law Phyllis Stevens, Martha Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers Ronnie, Charlie and Wayne Stevens.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Auburn Cemetery.
