The second wife of Daniel Finch, 2nd Earl of Nottingham (married 29 December 1685), and the mother of thirteen surviving children, out of twenty-two pregnancies, including Daniel Finch, 8th Earl of Winchilsea and 3rd Earl of Nottingham. She was appointed a Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Mary II of England in 1691 and served in that position until the Queen's death in 1694.
She was the daughter of Christopher Hatton, 1st Viscount Hatton (1632–1706), and his first wife, Cecily Tufton, a daughter of John Tufton, 2nd Earl of Thanet, and Lady Margaret Sackville (1614–1676), daughter of Richard Sackville, 3rd Earl of Dorset and Lady Anne Clifford.
