B. Chaffin, Christian County coroner. Vanderpool's body was found early Monday in his car in a garage some distance from their residence near Ozark. He had gone to the garage Sunday night to get his car preparatory to go hunting, his wife, Mrs. Von Treba Vanderpool, said. There was evidence he had had difficulty in starting the car and had been working on the motor. It was believed he was attempting to start the automobile again when he suffered the heart attack. Besides wife, he is survived by two children; Peggy Joan, 7, and Jesse Lee, 9, his parents; Mr. and Mrs. R.L.H. Vanderpool, Route 4, Springfield, and two sisters; Mrs. Mae Morlan of Route 4; and Mrs. Thelma Housley, 1440 Frisco; Springfield. Funeral services will be under direction of Dunn funeral home.
