Marvin E. Buckley, 87, of 515 Lafayette Drive, Owensboro, died Saturday, April 15, 1995, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in McLean County, a son of the late Frank and Ada McDowell Buckley. He was retired from the Corps of Engineers and was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church for 50 years and Masonic Lodge F&AM No. 743 in Island for 61 years. His first wife, Thelma Howell Buckley, died Nov. 23, 1990, and his second wife, Bonnie Kelton Buckley, died Sept. 6, 1993.

Survivors include a son, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were at James H. Davis Funeral Home, Owensboro. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. The family requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Kentucky Baptist Home for Children.
