Graveside services for Albert David Benton age 88, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Ferguson Cemetery with Rev. Robert Carter officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. Benton passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Integris Hospital House in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born July 27, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH to Clyde Benton and Eva Downs Benton. Mr. Benton was a machinist and taught machine shop at Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech in Oklahoma City, OK. Mr. Benton loved building things out of wood and working in the yard. While working at Francis Tuttle he would get old or broken bicycles, fix them, and give them to the poor and underprivileged children at Christmas. He served in the National Guard.

Mr. Benton was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Marion Benton and brother Preston Benton. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Paulina Snider Benton, sons David Preston Benton of Oklahoma City, OK, and Richard Wayne Benton and wife Brenda of Waxahachie, sister Susan Benton Lipps and husband Eddie of Hamilton, OH., Barbara Benton Young and husband David of Broussard, LA., three grandchildren David Benton and wife Jimi-Carol of Temple, Richard K. Benton of Oklahoma City, OK., and Kevin Benton of Waxahachie, TX., great grandchildren, twins, Addison Grace Benton and Allister Joyce Benton, Avery Alaine Benton and Aksel Chamberlain Benton.
