William C. Zunker
William Carl Zunker died at the family home on West Carroll street at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, 1911, after a lingering illness of heart trouble. He was 63 years of age and was born in Germany. His wife and a grown up family survive him. Mr. Zunker for a number of years held the position of street commissioner of Portage.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from St. John's Lutheran church, Rev. Uffenbeck officiating. Burial will be in Silver Lake cemetery.
