Marsha Jean Miller Bardwell, 65, a resident of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed away September 12, 2017 in Pike County, MS. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will handle the arrangements. There are no services scheduled at this time.
Mrs. Bardwell was born May 24, 1952 in Walthall Co., MS to Walter Ray Miller and Prudia Mae Townsand Miller. She was a homemaker, who loved gardening and canning. She collected many items, some of which included; hummingbirds and Indian relics.
She is preceded in death by her father, her husband; Floyd Ray Bardwell. That union brought forth three children; James A. Bardwell, whom precedes her; Kenneth Ray Bardwell (Rotonia) of Pascagoula, MS, and Ruby Wallace (Kurt) of Bogue Chitto, MS, survive her; her companion, Virgil Magee; a daughter-in-law, Angela Driggers, four sisters; Joyce Miller Martin, Latta Watson, Renita Carter and Stephanie Johnson, and several grandchildren have also preceded her in death. She is also survived by her mother; Prudia Mae Miller of Pinola, MS , a son; Quintin Bardwell of Bogue Chitto, two sisters; Catherine Powell (Rickey) of Pinola, MS and Ruth Hamilton (Mack) of Florence, MS, a special friend who was raised as a daughter; Catherine Stacey Oakes Rhines of Washington State, grandchildren; Zachary R. Bardwell, Timothy Williams, Kenneth Bardwell, Jesse James Bardwell, Brentaja Bardwell, Shane Bardwell, Matthew Wallace, Peyton Wallace, Kelsey Wallace, a lifetime friend; Karen Williams of Bogue Chitto, and numerous other friends and relatives.
