Stephanie Adelheid (nee Dunkhase) Poust, 58, of Montoursville, PA, formerly of Rockaway, NJ, died on Thursday, December 19, 1985 at 4:30 PM in Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport, PA, where she was admitted on Wednesday, December 18, 1985. She was born in Leutkirche, Germany, and lived in Rockaway Township, NJ, for many years. She graduated from Leonia High School and the Montclair State Teachers College. Stephanie was a former librarian in Mountain Lakes, NJ and at Hugh Library in Dade City from 1973 until 1978. She and her husband also owned and operated Poust Appliance Store in Rockaway for several years and lived in Lycoming County for a year. She was a member of Saint James (White's) Lutheran Church. She was the daughter of the late Anton and Stephanie (nee Lipp) Dunkhase. Surviving are her husband, Ralph E. Poust; a son, Robert E. of Lafayette, NJ; two sisters, Eleanor Budin of Dade City, FL and Carol Russo of Franklin, NJ; and four grandchildren. A son, Stephan Carl, died in 1971. Funeral service on Sunday, December 22, 1985 at 2 PM in the Poust-Bunnell Funeral Home, Millville, PA, with her pastor, the Reverend John K. Lanhardt officiating. Burial on Monday, December 23, 1985 at 11:30 AM in the First Presbyterian Cemetery, Rockaway, NJ. Visitation on Saturday, December 21, 1985 from 7-8:30 PM.
