Clifton C. Bigarel, 71, of 218 Chestnut St. North Syracuse, died unexpectedly Saturday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. A native of Fowler, he lived in North Syracuse 41 years. He was a former village trustee and was also a member of the auxiliary police. He was also a committeeman for the Clay Republicans for 15 years. He was a past president of the North Syracuse Men's' Garden Club and a member of the North Syracuse Senior Citizens. He was also a member of the RAGS Radio Club and a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Bigarel; a sister, Miss Gladys Bigarel, Gouverneur; a brother, Arnold Bigarel, Oak Ridge, Tenn. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Fergerson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 215 S. Main St.
