Funeral Services Are Held Monday For Henry Oda

Henry Oda, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Withrow, at Pitsburg, Ohio, early Saturday morning after an illness of nine weeks. The deceased was 87 years old.

A retired farmer, he was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church of Pitsburg.

Survivors include two sons, John and Levi, both of Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Susan Green, of near Troy; Mrs. Mary Withrow, Pitsburg, and Mrs. Clara Fasick, who resides near Arcanum; two brothers, Pete of Dayton and Abe of Jackson Center, Ohio. Three sisters are also left, they are Mrs. Emma Whiting, Covington, Ohio; Mrs. Minnie Barringer, Jackson Center, Ohio and Mrs. Margaret Hess, of rural route West Milton; thirty grandchildren and thirty-four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:0 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran church, Pitsburg, with the Rev. V. C. Ridenour officiating. Burial was in the Mote cemetery with Stutz and Sando in charge.
