Billy Verlus Henderson, age 70, of Jasper, AR, passed away June 2, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, AR.
The son of Corby and Bertie (Plumlee) Henderson was born August 21, 1951 in Harrison, AR.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Eulene Garrison and Freda Murray; and a nephew, Jerry Garrison.
Bill loved his Lord and going to church. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing with his son, brother and nephews.
Bill is survived by his sons, Michael Henderson and wife Miranda of Parthenon, AR and Jason Henderson and his friend Mallorie of Paris, AR; his daughter, Rachel Lange and husband James of Omaha, AR; two sisters, Leona Chasteen of OK, Harriett Hill and husband Dean of Berryville, AR; one brother, Delbert Henderson of Compton; and the mother of his children, Glenda Henderson of Jasper.
He is also survived by six granddaughters, Paige, Makenna, Laighton Henderson, Taylor Ricketts, and Montana and Ella McEntire; four grandsons, Justin, Donavan, and Carson Henderson, and Hunter Ricketts; two great granddaughters, Haisley and Oakley Henderson and a granddaughter on the way; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 6, 2022 at Union Hill Cemetery in Parthenon, AR. With Brother James Compton and Brother Bobby Young officiating.
Pallbearers will be Justin Henderson, Jason Poole, Hunter Ricketts, Clinton Daniels, Harold Brasel, and Kenny Garrison.
Honorary pallbearers are Donavan Henderson and Carson Henderson, and his six Granddaughters.
