Herkimer, Oct 12— Miss Alice Loretta Howe, aged 18 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Howe, in North Prospect street. Some two years ago she received an injury by a fall, and her death ensued indirectly from the accident after a lingering illness. The deceased had always resided in Herkimer and was well liked by her companions, who will regret her demise. She is survived by her parents and five brothers, Gervaise W., Emmett, Leo, Cecil and Lauren, and three sisters, Mrs. Turner Beels, Elizabeth and Teresa. The funeral will be held to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock from St. Francis de Sales Church, and will be attended by the L. C. B. A. and League of the Sacred Heart.
