She was born Thursday, December 15, 1910 at Pendleton County, a daughter of the late Charles Hinkle and Mary Ellen Bennett Hinkle. She was married to William Theodore Day, who preceded her in death July 21, 1969.
She attended the schools of Randolph County. She was a cook at the former Hamrick School and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Parsons Chapter #91 Order of the Eastern Star for over fifty years. She was an enthusiastic Bingo player.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM. On Tuesday evening at the funeral home parlor at 7PM, Parsons Chapter #91 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct ritualistic services. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 11 AM. The Reverend John Morrison will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery at Parsons.
