Sherry A. Bahr, 75, of Brainerd, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at her home surrounded by family. Sherry was born February 17, 1947, in Brainerd, the daughter of Arnold R. and Katherine A. (Hoben) Ramsdell. After graduating from high school, Sherry worked for the State of Minnesota for many years. In 1969, she married Thomas Bahr and the couple were blessed with two children. Sherry had a great sense of humor and a strong will. She liked to collect snowmen, watch her cardinals, and work jigsaw puzzles. Above all, she cherished her cuddles with her grandchildren and furry friend, Brandie.
She will be missed by her husband, Tom; children Colleen Bahr and Mike (Petria) Bahr; grandchildren, Breanna and Makenna Bahr; great-grandchildren, Carly Williams, Elijah Seely, and Madison Williams; her sister, Susan Lytton; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Sherry's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Nelson – Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Pastor David Holte will officiate. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services and to join the family for a luncheon at the Green Lantern to follow interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. Nelson – Doran Funeral Home
