Doris June Bannister was born November 30, 1968 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, one of eleven children to Donald Joseph and Jane Ann (Bonk) Yost. She entered into rest on June 9, 2022 in Joplin, Missouri, following a short illness, at the age of 53. Doris was a graduate of East Newton High School, class of 1987. She had worked at Sunbeam, Jarden and Newell in customer service. She was an avid collector of Dr. Pepper items and enjoyed music and her animals. Doris is survived by her husband, Paul; one daughter, Amanda May Bannister of Stark City; six sisters, Debbie Lewis and husband, Mike of Neosho, Diana Oyerly of Granby, Missouri, Denise Williams and husband, Delbert of Granby, Missouri, Darlene Thompson and husband, Frank of Granby, Missouri, Donna Linton of Neosho, Missouri and Doreen Clouse and husband, Mike of Granby, Missouri; four brothers, Jeff Yost and wife, Tammy of Neosho, Missouri, Jock Yost and wife, Pam of Miami, Oklahoma, Joel Yost and wife, Debbie of Stark City, Missouri and Joey Yost and wife, Rhonda of Neosho, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Jane Yost and brother-in-law, Van Oyerly.
