Lucinda was the wife of L.A. Kurtz. They died together in a tragic accident in 1893. Although Leonidas A. "L.A." is the only marker in the cemetery, their daughter Minnie's obituary indicates that Minnie is buried next to her parents in Oak Valley. Perhaps a portion of his stone is no longer legible or Lucinda's stone has disappeared over the years. I am convinced she would have been buried with him given the nature of their death together and the text in Minnie's obit. Lucinda was born about 1846, the daughter of "Leven" and Polly Woolen.
