Mr Bailey retired as a Chittenden and Eastman Co machinist in 1963.
He was born March 5, 1898, at Pomeroy, Ohio, the son of Nial and Carrie Whitlock Bailey.
Mr Bailey served in the US Army in World War I.
He was a member of the Elks lodge.
He married Myrna Darrah in Denver, Colo., on April 10, 1919.
Surviving: The wife; three sons, Garold Bailey, Houston, Tex., Billy G. Bailey, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Carl Robert Bailey of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral: Prugh's Chapel at 2 pm Saturday, Rev Clyde L Norrgard; Aspen Grove cemetery.
