Wanda was employed as a financial technician for Rockford Public Schools, most recently at Roosevelt Alternative High School. Member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, serving formerly in the choir. Member of the National Education Association. She graduated from East High School (1973) and Rockford Business College, receiving her associates degree in business administration.
She died as a result of injuries received in a car accident in November of 2007.
Wanda is the proud mother of 3 sons: Jason, Joshua, and Justin Goode. She is also survived by mother, Roberta Gray; sisters Delores,Carolyn, Lillian, and Gayle. Wanda had many nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers, including godchildren Amethyst and Ahmad Mackey and Jayden Dieter.
