ELGIN - Funeral service for Judy B. Hinson, 65, will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hinson, wife of Eugene Hinson, passed away at Prisma Health Richland, on Sunday, June 12, 2022. Born in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Estell Medlin. She was a member of Elgin Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed fishing, Facebook, taking care of her pets, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene Hinson; children, Toby Butler (Mickey), and Michael McCaw; step-children, Amelia Leigh Brown and Tyler Eugene Hinson; brothers, Pete Dinkins (Karen) and Ronnie Dinkins; sister, Carleen Auker (Jeff); grandchildren, Kailee Butler, Madison Trimnal, Kaitlin Rose Frost, Kolby Erickson and Jordan Erickson (Zach); and great-grandchild, Dakota Wayne Butler and other great-grandchildren
