Barbara Barrow King

Barbara King, 96, passed away June 14, 2022 in Pilot Point, Texas. She was born May 24, 1926, the daughter of Marshall Lyle and Mary Phereby Veazey Barrow in Martindale, Caldwell County, Texas.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Burnside King, III and daughter, Barbara Lee King Barker. She also had three sisters, several cousins and nieces and a nephew who passed away previously.
Before she became unable to get around as well as she would like, she enjoyed working in her yard and garden and having family and friends come to visit. A few years after her husband's death in 2002, she joined a Red Hat Society group and spent time with that group of wonderful, fun, caring ladies. Also, she loved having many dogs and cats through the years who meant a lot in her enjoyment of life.
Survived by two sons, Dr. James Burnside King, IV and Dr. Stephen Marshall King (Mary Mitchell); seven grand children, nine great grand children and other extended family members and friends.
Graveside Service will be June 25, 2022 in Abbey Court at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas...RFH
