Born November 11, 1929 in Martinsburg she was the daughter of the late Roy Douglas Elliott and Ella Sarah Clipp Elliott.
She is survived by three sons, Charles C. Bayer, Jr., James Douglas Bayer (Judy) and Donald L. Bayer; one daughter, Pamala L. Bayer; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Tanya Green, who went above and beyond. Dorothy loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy D. Elliott, Jr., Stanley L. Elliott and David W. Elliott; and two sisters, Genevieve E. Gregory and Hazelleen LeMaster.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Wilson officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
