WISEMAN, Virgil, 78, of Union, W.Va., died Friday, May 2, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Emma F. Wiseman; two daughters, Phyllis Perdue of Troutville, Va., and Linda Mims of Bushnell, Fla.; two granddaughters, Sherry Mims of Bushnell, Fla., and Laura Perdue of Troutville; a foster brother, B. J. Mitchelson Jr. of Sharon, N.C., and a foster sister, Louella Nutter of Akro n, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at Dropping Lick United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 1997, with the Revs. Hertzel Mills and Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Keenan, W.Va. Friends may call at Groves Funeral Home in Union, W.Va., after 4 p.m. Saturday, where the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. The family also will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services.
