Sho'Equana Marchantia "Quana" Bethea-Manley, passed away on June 11, 2022.

She was born on May 28, 1987.

Quana's smile radiated every room or place she entered especially when she heard her favorite song "This Little Light of Mine" and you could feel the love and joy with every sound she made. Quana couldn't say many words, walk, or care for herself, the testimony of her life was powerful and delivered a message of inspiration and the awesome power of God.

She was a blessing to everyone that ever came in contact with her and she made a difference in their lives young and old. The doctors only gave Quana 2 years to live; yet God blessed her to see 2 years plus 33 more. Her life displayed the true example of God's awesomeness and mighty power.

Quana gave her life to the Lord and was baptize at an early age and was a part of many congregations/groups. At the age of two, she was blessed to be a part of the United Cerebral Palsy Center in Greenville, North Carolina. We thank God for those teachers and therapist that touched her life and helped to look at what Quana CAN do. She was also a part of Phillipi Church of Christ Disciples of Christ (Pastor Royal), United Church of Deliverance (Pastor Dupree), Solid Rock Church of Christ Disciples of Christ (Pastor Wilder) all in Greenville and Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church (Pastor Smith) in Fairmont, North Carolina. In 2001 the family moved to Woodbridge, Virginia and she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church (Pastor Lundy), Piney Branch Baptist Church (Pastor Micheal), and her current church New Union Baptist Church (Pastor Sampson).

She was a member of various church ministries; choirs, missionaries (visiting nursing homes and hospitals), youth groups. She faithfully attended Bible studies, Sunday school, and regular worship services. Her favorite part of service was offering time.

Quana graduated from Forest Park High School in 2009. After graduation from high school, she attended St. Coletta of Greater Washington an adult day program.

Her passing has brought an overwhelming sorrow to so many, near and far. We will all miss her laughter that fills a room with joy and her smile that brightens your day. We know that this is God's will and He loves her best.

Quana is survived by her father, Sherman L. Manley, Sr.; her mother, Stephanie Manley; her siblings, Sherman L. Manley, Jr. and Samantha R. Manley; her grandmother, Emma McKellar of Lumberton, N.C.; six aunts: Sharon Walker (Leon) of Suffolk, VA, Carol Carson of Fairmont, N.C., Sallie Marie McKellar of Chattanooga, TN, Bessie Manley of Hammond, IN, Vanessa Manley of Hammond, IN, and Yvonne Manley of Hammond, IN; five uncles: Robert Bethea (Tonya) of Fayetteville, N.C., Michael Bethea (Estella) of San Diego, CA, Mark Bethea (Susan) of Mint Hill, N.C., Kenneth Thompson (Connie) of Wingate, N.C., and Paul Manley (Wadene) of East Chicago, IN; three cousins: Roschellee Walker, Brendette Walker, and Shannon Walker-White; her god-parents: Cynthia McAllister Pernell, Eddie Sampson, and Tracy Sampson; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral services will be held in First Baptist Church - Fairmont, 301 North Main Street, Fairmont, NC 28340.
