Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 20, 2022, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Bill Cannon officiating. Private graveside services for the family will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Cemetery, near Pansey. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the mortuary in Headland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center, 795 Ross Clark Circle, Suite 1, Dothan, AL 36303.
Mr. Etheridge was a lifelong resident of Ashford, son of the late Eugie Franklin Etheridge and Missie Belle Peterson Etheridge. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps. Mr. Etheridge was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired from Georgia Pacific at Cedar Springs, GA as a Power House Foreman. After retirement, he was employed by Wiregrass Gin. Mr. Etheridge was also engaged in farming most of his adult lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edwina Hall Etheridge, a sister, Hazel Anglin and a brother, Tom Etheridge.
Surviving relatives include his wife, two daughters, a son, a stepdaughter, a stepson, a sister-in-law, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-grandson on the way, and three step-grandchildren.
