Alice Irene Waite, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Waite of near Stanwood, died Saturday evening, August 10, at the Big Rapids Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Barryton Church Of God, Rev. Hoverter of Evart officiating. Burial at East Fork Cemetery.
Alice Irene Waite was born March 10, 1930 at Barryton, Michigan and departed this life in the Big Rapids Community August 19, 1946 at the age of 16 years and 5 months. She was the oldest daughter of Jesse and Esther Waite. She was always at home with her parents and was ever willing to assist with the home work and care for her brothers and sisters. She leaves to mourn their loss, her Mother and Father, five sisters and four brothers; also many relatives and friends.
