OBITUARIES
CHARLES N. FINTON
Mr. Charles Nelson Finton, 70 years, 11 month and 28 days, former resident of Lykens and son of the ate Isaac S. and Lydia Finton, of Lykens, died suddenly at his home in Millerstown, on Monday at 2:30 A. M. Mr. Finton was born in Lykens, September 13, 1868.
Before making his home in Millerstown where he conducted a gas station, Mr. Finton for many years was outside foreman at Short Mt. Colliery.
Mr. Finton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Mumma Finton, two sons, Malvin, Lykens; Harry, Mt. Carmel, and five grandchildren.
Fraternally he was a member of the P. O. S. of A., Knights of Pythias and the Modern Woodman Lodges.
Funeral services were held from the Dreisigacker Funeral parlor, Main street, Lykens, yesterday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. T. Bradley Gaver, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was made in the I. O. O. F. Cemetery, Lykens.
